Private equity firm Investcorp has acquired Italian ticketing software business Vivaticket. Vivaticket was established in 1999 by Luca Montebugnoli and Luana Sabattini and provides integrated ticketing software solutions to the leisure and entertainment, sport, culture and tradeshow industries. The business has over 2,100 clients including Walt Disney World, Musée du Louvre and FC Barcelona. It is headquartered in Bologna, Italy and employs 450 people, with operations in 10 countries. Daniel Lopez-Cruz, Head of Investcorp’s European Private Equity group, said: “Vivaticket is a formidable customer-oriented software solutions provider with an impressive and entrepreneurial management team.
